In July 2017, NESA published amendments to the school registration manuals with regard to the quality of student learning (see NESA Official Notice 27/17).
The amended manuals have been approved by the Minister for Education as rules of NESA under section 25 of the Education Standards Authority Act 2013.
- Registration Process for the NSW Government Schooling System Manual
- Registered and Accredited Individual Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual
- Registration Systems and Member Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual
The amendments apply to:
- section 4 of the Manual for the government schooling system
- sections 3, 4 and 5 of the Manual for individual non-government schools
- sections 5, 6 and 7 of the Manual for systemic non-government schools.
These rules take effect with the publication of this Official Notice.
