The purpose of the School providers selected at random for a short notice inspection program (CRICOS Random Program) is to provide ongoing assurance. This assurance ensures compliance with the requirements set out in the NSW and Commonwealth legislation and guidelines, outside the cyclical renewal of school provider approval.
The CRICOS Random Program is being introduced in response to recent compliance findings in high-risk areas such as student welfare and wellbeing. The program aims to provide assurance that school providers are consistently implementing their documented policies and procedures, enhancing oversight of student welfare and wellbeing.
The selection of school providers considers the range of providers across NSW, excluding the NSW Department of Education School System Provider, and its delivery sites. School system providers are already monitored annually.
Randomly selected school providers will be inspected in relation to 3 focus requirements. For more information regarding:
- the notice period
