Compressed curriculum and acceleration in 2025
Schools delivering a compressed curriculum model for Personal Development, Health and Physical Education Stage 6 to be assessed in the 2025 HSC exam must follow all HSC requirements detailed in ACE 13.2 Compressed Curriculum. More information is available.
Schools will need to enrol students studying Personal Development, Health and Physical Education Stage 6 in a compressed curriculum model in 2025 into the preliminary component – 11300 PDHPE (2 units – Preliminary) or 16620 PDHPE Life Skills (2 units – Preliminary). Please contact records@nesa.nsw.edu.au to support this enrolment.
If an accelerated student completes the HSC for the existing course in 2025, should they attempt the new course within the five-year accumulation period, the latest attempt will void the previous result for the Higher School Certificate.
