New Elective PD requirement takes effect
New requirements for recording Elective Professional Development now take effect.

New requirements for recording Elective Professional Development (PD) as outlined in Section 5.1.1 of the NSW Teacher Accreditation Manual now take effect.
Teachers no longer need to log Elective PD in their NESA online account (eTAMS).
Under this change, teachers will need to:
- keep a record of Elective PD and capture essential information only
- retain their Elective PD record for 12 months after their maintenance period ends.
The change forms part of the staged implementation of the teacher accreditation reforms.
