make connections with the right organisations and people
-
find jobs seekers who have relevant skills or are in training to get the necessary skills.
Which staff are eligible
Get support from our skills brokers for:
-
new staff who meet the eligibility criteria
-
existing staff at risk of unemployment who need retraining to secure ongoing employment.
See eligibility criteria on our JobTrainer page and our courses and qualifications page
How we organise training
Our skills broker will assess which training course meets your staff and business needs.
Your staff will need to enrol with a Registered Training Organisation (a TAFE or private college or a community college). In most cases the training will be free.
They’ll need to provide proof of eligibility when they enrol. For example,
-
letter
-
email
-
employment contract
-
payslip indicating JobKeeper payments
-
notice of redundancy
-
other documentation relating to their employment.
Employers may also need to provide some documentation or evidence.
The skills broker can provide further information (as required).
