Audit Office inquiry: recommendation 11

Explains how we report on offset obligations under Recommendation 11 of the Audit Office review

We report each year on the estimated number and type of biodiversity offset obligations that can or cannot be met on a like-for-like basis, and the estimated costs to meet these within 12 months.

We have a legal role to accept and acquit offset obligations when developers pay into the Biodiversity Conservation Fund.
