Rules for allocating species to categories for the Biodiversity Conservation Fund charge system

This document explains the rules we follow to decide which category a species belongs to when using the Biodiversity Offsets Payment Calculator. 

We do this to help estimate the cost of protecting each species, based on how hard they are to find, manage, and monitor.
