Glen Innes Saleyards upgrade
Project to modernise and enlarge the Glen Innes sheep selling complex, making it the major sheep selling centre in northern NSW.
Funding has been allocated to modernise and enlarge the Glen Innes sheep selling complex which will support local jobs and create business opportunities in the Northern Tablelands.
Expanding the Glen Innes Saleyards’ capacity will encourage a higher number of Northern Tablelands stock to be traded through the yards and improve operational safety. The upgrade will elevate the saleyards to the major sheep selling centre in northern NSW.
The project will provide Glen Innes with infrastructure that will attract long-term investment and it will immediately stimulate the local economy by providing work for tradies, suppliers and other local businesses.
