Program objective
The Stolen Generations Collective Healing Reparations Funding Program aims to achieve the following program outcomes:
- Four eligible survivor-led Stolen Generations Organisations (SGOs) in NSW strengthen their organisational governance and capacity so that they can demonstrate self-determination and sustainability.
- Four eligible survivor-led Stolen Generations Organisations (SGOs) in NSW implement priority collective healing project activities, for example, survivor reunions, healing camps, recording of testimony, and development of educational materials that can be used by the broader community.
- Through collective healing project activities implemented by four SGOs, Stolen Generations Survivors may address their own trauma, and the inter-generational impacts of trauma on their descendants, families, and communities.
- Collective healing project activities demonstrate effective healing approaches, for example, revitalising cultural identity, trauma-informed, committed to positive change, and demonstrate through evidence and learning, positive outcomes in individuals, families, and communities.
