Grants will facilitate easy, widespread and improved access to comprehensive, up-to-date, evidence-based information and resources for family and friends of LGBT+ people who use drugs and vice versa (i.e. LGBT+ family and friends).

Program objective
The objective of this grant is to address information gaps identified by the Special Commission of Inquiry into the Drug Ice (Ice Inquiry) and Centre for Alcohol and Other Drug (CAOD) led consultations, being service navigation support, general AOD information and practical coping mechanisms. Resources may also address other informational gaps identified by the supplier in their consultations with (i) LGBT+ families affected by a loved one's AOD use, (ii) families and friends affected by a loved one's AOD use who identifies as LGBT+.
This program is funded and administered by NSW Health.
