Implementation Plan 1 will be delivered over 2 years and will focus on research and delivery activities for eight top-priority weeds, including leafy elodea, ox-eye daisy, and Hudson pear. Strategic initiatives include co-designing a dedicated Aboriginal Engagement Plan and nominating additional biocontrol candidates for future consideration. This program is funded by the NSW Environmental Trust and delivered by a consortium led by CSIRO, in partnership with the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.
