Central Darling Shire Council - Adhoc Grant - Round One

Program objective

The objective of the Grant is to assist Council to achieve, under the new rural and remote model of governance, sustainable operation into the future by funding the following measures:

a) undertaking infrastructure maintenance and renewal works to meet the ongoing demand for services that are critical to community health and wellbeing and properly support economic activity carried out in Council’s area of operations.

b) building its internal capacity through filling staffing gaps, the provision of training and professional development for councillors and staff, and information technology system upgrades for Council to be able to efficiently and effectively exercise its function.

This program is administered by Office of Local Government.
