Program objective
The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water's Air Policy team funded the Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand (CASANZ) a one-off/ad-hoc grant of $50,000.
This grant will ensure that council officers have appropriate training on how to manage air quality including through their regulatory, planning and community education functions. This grant supports key actions under the NSW Clean Air Strategy 2021 to 2030, to support local councils and improve air quality in NSW.
This program is funded and administered by Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Water.
Program evaluation
CASANZ to provide DCCEEW a 6 monthly progress update and final report.
