NSW Ministry of Health invites eligible applicants from the End of Life and Palliative Care NGO Grant Program to apply for one-off grants from 2025-26 to 2026-27 to increase community capacity to engage with death and dying.

Program objective
This grant opportunity forms an addendum to the End of Life and Palliative Care (EoLPC) Grants Program. The program aims to complement NSW Health palliative and end of life care services by supporting community initiatives. Grants funded will address one or more of the following objectives:
- Increase death and grief literacy in the community.
- Promote knowledge and implementation of Advance Care Planning.
- Provide increased support for bereavement, grief and loss for families and carers.
Eligibility criteria for this funding opportunity include:
- Applicants who applied and met all relevant eligibility and assessment criteria for the first round of the EoLPC NGO Grant Program and scored highly within the order of merit.
- Applicants who were not awarded funding in the first round of the EoLPC NGO Grant Program.
- Applications that align with the aims and objectives of the EoLPC NGO Grants Program, as outlined in the grant guidelines for the first round of funding and align with intent of original application under the program.
- Proposed initiative(s) targeting a priority population outlined in the NSW EoLPC Framework, which was not addressed in the first round of the EoLPC NGO Grant Program.
This program is funded and administered by NSW Health.
