Program objective
The objective of the Program is to undertake a Wallis Lake Feral Deer control program with a nil-tenure partnership between Hunter Local Land Services (Hunter LLS), NPWS and MidCoast Council (MCC) to control a localised population of Rusa deer which is impacting coastal wetlands and littoral rainforest between Smiths Lake and Old Bar on the NSW mid-north coast.
This program is administered by Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.
