Approved for Company B Ltd
We develop, produce and present theatre in our epic/intimate Surry Hills home on Gadigal land. We are driven by the twin tasks of sustaining our artform and sustaining our communities. The two things go hand in hand. At its best, our work is generous to audiences, theatrically inventive, and with and for, people or communities theatre missing from the big picture of our national culture Above all, we exist to celebrate life, and to share our love of theatre.

Approved for Griffin Theatre Company Ltd
For over four decades, Griffin Theatre Company has been exclusively dedicated to producing Australian plays, providing a home for both playwrights and audiences, and ensuring their stories find resonance and representation. From the company’s founding in 1979 through to 2023 and beyond, Griffin has eschewed the dominance of British, European, and American texts on Australian stages. We develop, platform, and champion our national voice in all its complexity and diversity. At the heart of Griffin's artistic vision is our commitment to cultural plurality. As the only theatre company focused solely on Australian stories, Griffin assumes the crucial responsibility of presenting the diverse cultural fabric of our nation through storytelling. Each season showcases the rich ethno-cultural makeup of Australia, amplifying the voices of artists from the global majority. Moreover, Griffin recognises the paramount importance of First Nations storytelling in shaping Australia's national identity. We position First Nations works as a tentpole to all programming and play development programs.

Approved for Performing Lines Ltd
Performing Lines is a national producing company that champions the independent performing arts sector as a powerful force of contemporary cultural expression. We produce work from the genesis of a project right through to presentation and beyond. We demonstrate the value of artist-led practice, hold space for different perspectives to be exchanged, and breach new creative and producing frontiers. Performing Lines’ focus and unique offer is to provide support for artists and small companies who don’t have the infrastructure or producing expertise to realise their creative ambitions. By placing their creative needs at the centre of our activity, we ensure that there is a mechanism for this rich facet of Australia’s cultural identity to be visible and appreciated more widely.
