Program objective
The National Space Industry Hub is located in Tech Central and delivered by Cicada Innovations. The Hub will:
- Provide startups and SMEs with specialised infrastructure, mentorship, and industry expertise
- Support access to global partnerships and integration into international supply chains
- Deliver a one-to-many model of support through specialist coordinators with deep industry knowledge
- Build the visibility and reputation of NSW as a leader in the space sector through Tech Central.
The objectives of the National Space Industry Hub are to:
- Accelerate the growth of NSW’s space industry by enabling startups and SMEs to scale and commercialise innovation
- Strengthen NSW’s position in global supply chains through targeted support and international connections
- Build resilient, high-value space industry capability aligned to the NSW Industry Policy, Innovation Blueprint, and Trade and Investment Strategy
- Advance space solutions that contribute to broader government missions, including climate change, energy, and advanced technologies.
This program is funded and administered by Premier's Department.
