What your application needs to include
Prepare your application with this checklist
Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements to submit an application. Detailed eligibility and merit criteria are outlined in the Round 4 Fast Charging Grant Guidelines. The guidelines are available on the Fast Charging webpage.
Address the eligibility criteria
Each applicant, as part of an application response, must confirm that they meet the eligibility criteria.
Applicants that do not address the eligibility criteria in full may be excluded from the application process at the department's discretion.
Start the application
Applicants are required to submit set information and documents as part of their application. All applicants must use the Department’s nominated online grant management system (GMS), SmartyGrants, to submit a bid and all relevant documentation.
Applicants must meet the overall round eligibility requirements and provide detailed site designs and bid proposal details.
Eligible sites will then be competitively assessed based on responses to the merit criteria. The merit of individual charging stations will be assessed and considered alongside the merit of the entire application in pursuit of the NSW Government’s objectives for this program.
Note: If you are a new applicant to SmartyGrants, you will need to register and create a password. If you are already registered, you can log in with your existing username and password.
