Approved for CanRevive Inc.
Stronger Bodies, Stronger Bonds is a community-based program supporting culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) Chinese cancer patients and carers to reduce cancer-related fatigue and pain while strengthening social connections. Delivered by CanRevive with expert partners, the program blends mainstream exercise (aerobic, resistance) with Chinese cultural practices (Tai Chi, Baduanjin) and mind–body workshops. Cancer survivors are often isolated; this project fosters peer support, resilience, and reconnection with the community. With bilingual resources, social activities, and trained peer leaders, it removes language barriers, empowers recovery, and builds sector capability through a culturally adapted toolkit for wider uptake across NSW.

Coptic United FC will deliver inclusive twice-weekly soccer clinics for children aged 4–12, with at least 10% of participants children with disability. At this formative age, shared play builds motor skills, confidence, friendships, and acceptance of difference. Through modified drills, family days, and multicultural inclusion showcases, the program celebrates diversity and ensures every child feels they belong and are respected. Coaches and referees will be trained in inclusive practice, embedding sustainable skills within the community. This investment delivers strong value for money—children will grow in confidence, families will feel empowered, and communities will be stronger together well beyond the clinics.
