Who can apply
Who can apply for a Grant
- Applications must:
- hold an Australian Business Number (ABN) and be one of the following:
- a Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation
- a company incorporated in Australia;
- a company incorporated by guarantee;
- an incorporated association or co-operative;
- a partnership;
- a sole trader; or
- an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Corporation registered under the Corporations (Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006;
- be registered for GST;
- have the demonstrated skills and capacity to deliver the OCHRE Opportunity Hub Initiative in one or all Service Areas;
- be financially viable and able to demonstrate they are likely to remain so over the duration of the Initiative delivery period and have public liability insurance.
- Provide an Australian Taxation Office Business Viability Report

- rigorous provider selection through open tender
- individualised student needs assessment and transition planning
- continuous monitoring of engagement and outcomes
- formal program evaluation grounded in community input and evidence
