About the Project

The Redevelopment of St Paul's Community Centre will develop the property into a more inclusive, inviting space for the wider community. It involves modifying two existing community halls into larger, multi-purpose community centres including landscaped gardens with frontage to Canterbury Road.

Project Scope

Renovation of the Main Hall and construction of a new community centre adjacent to the Main Hall to include the following elements:

  • Auditorium
  • Multi-purpose kids and youth space
  • New office facilities, storage area and bookstore
  • Upgraded kitchen and bathrooms including accessible bathroom and shower
  • Parents and carers room
  • Covered outdoor area
  • Cleaning facilities
  • Facade improvements to main hall
  • Heating and cooling
  • Stage with accessible ramp
  • Minor works to lower hall including painting, refurbishment and sound proofing.
