About the Project

The Gandangara Support Centre - Veteran Rehabilitation and Youth Diversion Programs Project establishes a First Peoples’ centre in Guildford accompanied by 10ha of green and open space for the community. The project restores culturally significant and heritage buildings to enable the delivery of a Veterans Rehabilitation Program and a Youth Diversion Program for residents of the Cumberland LGA and surrounds.

  • Adaptive reuse of cultural and heritage buildings within the site
  • Interpretative walk
  • Laundry
  • Summerhouse
  • Former tennis court
  • Fountain
  • Swimming Pool
  • Curtilage
  • Restoration and improvements to the grounds and landscaping
  • Circular garden on raised bed
  • Restoration of timber front entry gate and fence
