About the Project

Baker Crescent Shops & McBurney Reserve Revitalisation Project will create pathways and an adjoining public reserve will be revitalised to increase visitation and enhance the experience for local residents, parent with young children commuters, shop owners tenants and their employees.

Project Scope

Works will include:

  • Widening of existing footpath/public domain along Baker Crescent Shops
  • Roadworks upgrades (including kerb and gutter along Baker Crescent Shops)
  • Planter boxes along Baker Crescent Shops
  • Bollards along Baker Crescent Shops
  • Footpath upgrades within McBurney Reserve, including improved pedestrian access to bus shelter on Cross Street
  • Bench seating
  • Bike rack
  • Picnic setting with shelter
  • Signage and bins
  • Softworks (including shade trees, mulching, turf and general landscaping)
  • Stormwater drainage
  • Bus stop shelter along Cross Street
