About the Project

Baker Crescent Shops - Design and Rejuvenation Project will create pathways and an adjoining public reserve will be revitalised to increase visitation and enhance the experience for local residents, parent with young children commuters, shop owners tenants and their employees.

Project Scope

Works will include:

  • Altering the current parking opposite the shops to a 'No Parking Zone', allowing a wider footpath fronting the shops
  • The kerb and gutter fronting the shops will be repositioned to allow for Planter Boxes and Bollards
  • Shelters with picnic settings and seats will be positioned in the reserve
  • Additional shade trees will be positioned to the street and adjoining laneway.
  • Raised concrete treated pedestrian crossovers in two locations and concrete paths that link to a new bus shelter.
