About the Project
The Cook Park Precinct Project delivers an upgraded sport and mixed recreation facility in St Marys to provide the community with access to high-quality sporting facilities to accommodate a variety of needs from grassroots participation to elite-level competitions. The upgrade will include a new amenities building, extended grandstand with spectator viewing facilities, a new synthetic playing surface, additional car parking spaces, a walking circuit with pedestrian lighting, tree planting and landscaping.
Project Scope
The project delivers:
- Amenity Building Upgrade – including additional storage, accessible adult changeroom, accessible toilet, passenger lift, changerooms, upgrades to male and female toilets, upgraded media room and kitchenette
- New two-Story Amenities Building extension to include new canteen and canteen storage, two unisex changerooms, two umpire changerooms, coaches, administration and medical rooms, new activities rooms on first floor with spectator and viewing areas
- New FIFA quality synthetic surface upgrade for field 1
- Natural surface reconstruction for fields 2,3 & 4
- Precinct wide walking circuits with pedestrian lighting
- Car Park Upgrade
- Utilities relocation and civil infrastructure
- Precinct landscaping, spectator seating and tree planting
