About the Project

The Mulgoa Creek - Connecting Community with Healthy Habitats Project will restore biodiversity and habitat within the Mulgoa Valley. The project delivers interpretive signage to educate and engage community at key locations and will focus on the restoration of critically endangered riparian vegetation communities to enhance biodiversity and habitat with a special focus on the Platypus.

Project Scope

This project will deliver: 

  • A reduction in weed infestations at eight locations along the Mulgoa Creek corridor. 
  • Installation of permanent signage at three locations to educate and connect community. 
  • Testing and analysis to confirm platypus presence in Mulgoa Creek.
