About the Project
The Main Street Upgrade in Bargo Project will revitalise the existing rest area and parking site on Railside Drive. The upgrade will include a slip lane to allow trailers and RVs to park adjacent to the rest site.
The upgrade will feature parking facilities for single vehicles and RVs as well as rest facilities including picnic benches, shelters, waste disposal facilities and landscape upgrades to complement the main street facilities and provide a landscape screen to the adjacent rail corridor.
Project Scope
Works will include:
- Roadside parking and a travel rest location
- Parking spaces for vehicles and RVs
- Drainage infrastructure
- A footpath along Railside Drive
- Picnic infrastructure and shelters
- Waste disposal facilities
- Signage and line markings
- Landscaping
