Program objective
The funding is for the Yass Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Upgrade and associated reticulation improvement projects. This aims to improve the water system to maintain high quality water for the Yass Community.
This program is a NSW election commitment and is funded and administered by NSW DCCEEW.
The objectives of the grant are to:
- meet the new Health Based Targets (HBT) and Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG)
- upgrade the Yass water treatment plant
- upgrade the Yass reticulation networks.
This program is administered by The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.
