What’s this about?
This consultation paper outlines the proposed amendments to Accreditation Notices and accreditation conditions imposed on Accredited Certificate Providers under the Energy Savings Scheme and Peak Demand Reduction Scheme. It outlines the reasons for the changes and seeks stakeholder feedback by 28 August 2026.
We invite interested stakeholders, in particular Accredited Certificate Providers to share their feedback regarding the proposed updated and amendments, and comments on any benefits, issues or challenges these proposed changes may raise for your business. We also invite views on how we propose to implement amendments and the proposed 4-week transition period.
These schemes fall under the NSW Energy Security Safeguard, which are administered and regulated by IPART. Visit the IPART website to learn more about The Energy Security Safeguard schemes and the role of Accredited Certificate Providers.
