What’s this about?
The Jervis Bay Territory Fire Management Committee is seeking feedback on a draft bush fire risk management plan (BFRMP) for the Jervis Bay Territory on the New South Wales south coast.
A BFRMP is a document that identifies:
- bush fire risk to communities
- ways of reducing the impact of fires across an area to keep people safe and protect the things we value.
The Jervis Bay Territory Fire Management Committee is made up of fire agencies, land managers and other stakeholders. They have been working hard to find ways to reduce the impact of fires in the Jervis Bay Territory – protecting lives, homes, businesses, the environment, cultural values and other assets in this region.
View the plan online or at four local exhibition locations. Your feedback is important. By planning together, we will help shape the bush fire risk management plan for this area for the next 5 years.
