What’s this about?
The Northern Tablelands Bush Fire Management Committee is seeking feedback on a draft bush fire risk management plan (BFRMP) for the Northern Tablelands region in NSW.
A BFRMP is a document that identifies:
- bush fire risk to communities
- ways of reducing the impact of fires across an area to keep people safe and protect the things we value.
The Northern Tablelands Bush Fire Management Committee is made up of fire agencies, land managers and other stakeholders. They have been working hard to find ways to reduce the impact of fires in the Glen Innes Severn, Inverell and Tenterfield Local Government Areas – protecting lives, homes, businesses, the environment, cultural values and other assets in this region.
View the plan online or at the Northern Tablelands Fire Control Centre; Council Chambers in Glen Innes, Inverell and Tenterfield; and National Parks and Wildlife Offices in Glen Innes and Tenterfield. Your feedback is important. By planning together, we will help shape the bush fire risk management plan for this area for the next 5 years.
