What’s this about?

This plan of management will replace the existing plan for Limeburners Creek National Park, which was adopted in 1998. It also replaces the statement of management intent for Goolawah National Park and Goolawah Regional Park, which was approved in 2014.

Key issues addressed in the draft plan include:

  • protecting natural and cultural values while also providing sustainable recreation opportunities
  • recognising and protecting the important Aboriginal cultural values of the parks
  • maintaining and protecting the parks' ecological integrity, biodiversity, and regional connectivity.
