What’s this about?

The purpose of the draft plan is to investigate and present opportunities to improve the understanding and importance of the natural and cultural values of Kamay Botany Bay National Park, Kurnell.

The proposed plan will:

  • explore the national park's special character
  • identify who visits the national park and what their expectations are
  • review existing signage in the park that informs visitors of the natural and cultural heritage
  • identify untold stories
  • explore opportunities to improve storytelling about the park.

The NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment want to know if the draft plan captures the themes and stories that should be told, and if there are any other opportunities to explore.

Your feedback will inform the final plan.
