What’s this about?

The Natural Resources Commission is conducting its statutory review of the following water sharing plans before they expire on 1 July 2026:

• Water Sharing Plan for the Lachlan Regulated River Water Source 2016
• Water Sharing Plan for the Macquarie and Cudgegong Regulated Rivers Water Source 2016
• Water Sharing Plan for the Upper Namoi and Lower Namoi Regulated River Water Sources 2016

This is your opportunity to comment on the plans, which govern water sharing arrangements in inland areas of NSW. The Commission is specifically interested in your comments about the environmental, social, economic and cultural outcomes of the plans, and where changes to the plans may improve these outcomes.
