The NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment is seeking feedback on the draft Lachlan Regional Water Strategy.

What’s this about?

The NSW Government is preparing regional water strategies that will bring together the latest climate evidence to plan and manage the water needs of NSW over the next 20 to 40 years.

A long term regional water strategy will help guide how the NSW Government can manage challenges faced in the Lachlan region.

The Department of Planning, Industry and Environment is identifying actions that can address these challenges to support a liveable and prosperous Lachlan region.

Read the draft strategy, which has been prepared in consultation with local councils and Aboriginal communities.

We would like to hear any information that could help us to assess the benefits or disadvantages presented.
