What’s this about?

The draft amendment to the Mount Kaputar National Park plan of management is currently on public exhibition.

The Mount Kaputar National Park of Management was adopted in 2006. Since then, National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) operating environment has changed.

The amendment to the plan of management will allow NPWS to undertake operations in the park that can not be undertaken in accordance with the adopted plan of management. The amendment enables sealing of the Summit Road and improved management of recreational four-wheel driving on the Barraba Track.
