What’s this about?
The Geographical Names Board (GNB) is seeking community feedback on a proposal by Transport for NSW (TfNSW) to name the new railway station service Western Sydney Internation (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport as WSI Airport Railway Station.
The station is located adjacent to the airport terminal in Badgerys Creek, within the Liverpool Local Government Area.
The proposed name reflects the station's location at Western Sydney International (WSI) Airport and is intended to provide a clear and easily recognisable reference for travellers, visitors and the broader community.
GNB is seeking feedback to gauge community sentiment for the proposed name and suggestions for alternative names are not being sought at this time.
