What’s this about?

The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) is reviewing prices for water management services provided by the Water Administration Ministerial Corporation (WAMC) and WaterNSW.

The review will help set prices for water management and rural bulk water services. IPART will set these new prices from Thursday 1 July 2021.

The review will focus on assessing whether the proposed increases can be justified.

IPART will need to consider how the WAMC and WaterNSW proposals sit together and form a consistent view about what customers should pay. This includes how prices should be shared between customers and the NSW Government.

IPART is seeking feedback from customers, communities and other interested stakeholders.
