What’s this about?

Transport for NSW is seeking feedback on the draft Road Transport (General) Regulation 2021, as required under the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989.

Proposed changes to the regulation seek to improve customer outcomes by:

  • providing for the adoption and use of digital solutions and contemporary practices in relation to parking schemes. This includes parking permits and mobility parking scheme authorities
  • streamlining and modernising the legislation.

Read the Regulatory Impact Statement and draft regulation.
