What’s this about?

A predator-free area is proposed for a new reserve at Shanes Park to remove all feral cats and foxes.

Establishing this area involves the construction of a specialised predator-proof fence surrounding 555ha the reserve.

Threatened and declining species of native fauna will be reintroduced to the reserve once the area's feral species numbers are contained.
