Heritage NSW is seeking your feedback on a proposal for the restoration of the Tathra Wharf in the Bega Valley Shire.

What’s this about?

In accordance with Section 61 of the Heritage Act 1977, Heritage NSW seeks public feedback on an application for restoration work to the Tathra Wharf at Wharf Road, Tathra.

The proposed work includes: 

  • Repair and replacement of the wharf substructure (piles) and structure (headstocks, girders and deck).
  • Replacement of the stockyards and race.
  • Restoration of the wharf building, including electrical, hydraulic, and fire services upgrades.
  • Modifications to meet compliance requirements.
