Planning is progressing to replace Towong Bridge over the Murray River between NSW and Victoria.

What’s this about?

Transport for NSW (TfNSW), in partnership with Victoria’s Department of Transport, is planning a new bridge between Bringenbrong, NSW and Towong, Victoria.

The new bridge will require less future maintenance and will be able to carry more traffic and heavier loads.

TfNSW investigated the environmental and cultural heritage aspects of the project and developed a Review of Environmental Factors (REF) report. The community is now invited to have their say.
