Clinical care
We provide specialist clinical care through the Breast Centre at Westmead Hospital. Our multidisciplinary team works together to support people with breast cancer, as well as people with non-cancerous breast conditions.
Breast screening services
BCI offers screening services for women in Western Sydney and the Nepean Blue Mountains area through the BreastScreen NSW Sydney West program, delivering both screening and assessment services. Clinics are located across Western Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains to improve access to early detection.
Health Professionals in the region can also contact the BreastScreen NSW Sydney West Screening and Assessment Service directly on the following phone numbers:
- (02) 8890 7720 – For assistance with booking clients directly or requesting resources.
- (02) 8890 5494 or (02) 8890 6634 – For assistance with client results and other clinical enquiries.
- Clients do not need GP referral and they can book directly by calling 13 20 50.
- We provide interpreters to help with bookings. Call the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) on 13 14 50 and ask for BreastScreen NSW.
