About our arts program
The Arts in Health Program for the New Eurobodalla Regional Hospital Development is much more than deciding what will hang on our walls. It aims to create a lasting cultural legacy for the community and highlight the creative talents of the region.
Art has many benefits such as:
- improving patient health and wellbeing
- strengthening cultural connections to the hospital
- providing a warm, welcoming environment for everyone.
The program is led by the Eurobodalla Regional Hospital Arts Project Working Group, which includes community members and staff.
The project team is working closely with the Aboriginal community, local artists, patients, staff, architects, and designers. Together, they aim to ensure the artworks reflect the unique stories, people, and values of the Eurobodalla region.
This program is part of the Eurobodalla Regional Hospital Development and is delivered in partnership with the Southern NSW Local Health District, artists, and the community.
