The Bombala MPS expansion will increase the number of residential aged care beds, providing a significant boost to existing aged care accommodation. It will also enhance support areas and deliver staff accommodation, to help attract and retain more health workers to the region.
The facility will feature aged care facilities designed to ensure safety and functionality, while fostering a home-like environment for residents.
The Australian and NSW Governments have committed a total of $40 million to expand the Bombala MPS.

Scope
The project is expected to include:
- Additional aged care accommodation
- Enhance support areas to service the additional accommodation
- Additional key worker accommodation
The final scope will be determined through the planning and design process as it progresses.
