The redevelopment has boosted Campbelltown Hospital’s capacity to meet the growing needs of the Macarthur region.

Scope
- 90 new inpatient beds, with space for 30 more
- refurbished maternity department with 4 birthing rooms (3 new, 1 upgraded)
- expanded floor with ambulatory care, outpatient, antenatal and allied health services
- larger paediatric outpatient area
- relocated and expanded pathology and clinical information departments
- upgraded nurse call and pneumatic tube systems
- 6 bariatric rooms, including 3 purpose-built
- central café with indoor and outdoor seating
- expanded support services, larger loading dock, more parking and a new link bridge
- new entrance off Parkside Crescent
- upgraded Emergency Department with 11 new bays and a short stay unit
- 2 interventional cardiology catheter labs
- new entrance off Appin Road and ground-level car park.
