Health Infrastructure Construction works

As part of the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Redevelopment project, replacement of awning panels at the eastern gas compound adjacent to the Centenary Institute, accessible via Johns Hopkins Drive, is planned to commence Monday 16 March 2026.

As part of ongoing refurbishment works within RPA Hospital, the builder on the redevelopment will take possession of Delivery Room 3 to complete refurbishment works within the Delivery Unit.

Scaffolding around the building exterior has come down over the past weeks and the facade panels are being installed. 

The construction site for the Moree Hospital Redevelopment has recently expanded to include the Crane and Glennie Building and Kiosk areas, which are being demolished as part of the redevelopment project. 

As part of the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Redevelopment project, refurbishment works within the Birth Centre (Level 3, Building 89) are scheduled to commence on Monday 23 February 2026, with construction activities continuing throughout 2026.

On Thursday 26 February, a concrete pour will take place from 7am to 6pm for the new Batemans Bay Community Health on Pacific Street, Batemans Bay.

Internal refurbishments as part of the Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Hospital Redevelopment will soon begin on level 5 of the main clinical services building to complete the Women & Babies Ambulatory Care reception areas. 

Construction for the Western Medical Gas Compound will start in the last week of February 2026.
