The Kingscliff Ambulance Station is part of Stage 2 of the NSW Government’s Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration (RAIR) program.
Project information
The RAIR program is the single largest investment in regional NSW Ambulance’s almost 130-year history, with 54 new, rebuilt or upgraded ambulance stations being delivered in rural and regional NSW, to support the delivery of enhanced out-of-hospital emergency medical care to the community.
The NSW Government is investing $232 million to deliver the Rural Ambulance Reconfiguration (RAIR) Stages 1 and 2 programs.
Benefits
The project will:
- Optimise paramedic response times and support critical lifesaving care.
- Provide a better working environment for local paramedics.
- Better meet the current and future demand for emergency medical care in Kingscliff.
Scope
The new Kingscliff station is built over two levels and features eight internal ambulance bays, including a wash bay, administration and office areas, staff amenities, staff parking, as well as logistics and storage areas.
