Lockhart Multipurpose Service

Project information

The $8 million upgraded Lockhart Multipurpose Service (MPS) facility provides a full range of community health services, from preventative healthcare to acute services – all in one location.

The Lockhart MPS was delivered as part of the roll out of previous stages of the NSW Government's MPS program. The project also included the purchase of the adjacent property to the existing hospital, for staff accommodation. 

Scope

The project delivered: 

• 15 additional residential aged care beds
• acute services including an emergency department
• physiotherapy, community nursing, child and family nursing and consultation
• rooms for both private and visiting health services
• ensuite facilities for all bedrooms
• dedicated activities and dining rooms
• comfortable interiors, external gardens and walking paths.
