The Mudgee Ambulance Station is part of Stage 2 of the NSW Government's Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration (RAIR) program.
The RAIR program is the single largest investment in regional NSW Ambulance's almost 130-year history, with 54 new, rebuilt or upgraded ambulance stations being delivered in rural and regional NSW, to support the delivery of enhanced out-of-hospital emergency medical care to the community.
The NSW Government is investing $232 million to deliver the Rural Ambulance Reconfiguration (RAIR) Stages 1 and 2 programs.
Benefits
The project delivers an enhanced work environment for paramedics.
Scope
Station refurbishment works included:
- alterations and additions to staff amenities
- plant room improvements
- other internal and external upgrades such as new carpet and repainting.
