The Peak Hill MPS plays an important role in delivering care to the local community and coordinating key health and aged care services.
Project information
The $12 million facility was jointly funded with $6 million from the NSW Government and $6 million from the Australian Government's Health and Hospitals fund.
Scope
The project delivered:
- two sub-acute beds
- two respite/palliative beds
- rural emergency care service
- consultation rooms
- 10 high care residential aged care beds
- respite care
- diversional therapy
- general practitioner services
- clinical and operational support services
- chronic disease management programs and clinics
- ambulatory and community acute/ post-acute services
- capacity for a facility-based selfcare renal dialysis space
- refurbishment of existing staff accommodation.
